Laney is starting to really develop a personality and her own look. She doesn't look so much like a newborn nor does she look as much like big sis... LOVE IT!
It's amazing to watch, especially alongside a very active Jovey. Who knows who she'll end up being. . . carefree, laid back, quiet, or quite the opposite. What a joy to sit back and see develop, though!
That's a loaded question. The answer is, I'm not sure, but I do know that it is a continual process and I get excited, frustrated and overjoyed at that process on a daily basis! A few things I DO know: I am a 31 year old mother of two, beautiful girls who has the privilege of being a pastor's wife. I grew up as a pastor's daughter, and never thought it a privilege, but a curse. As I grow in wisdom (not age in years ;-), I have learned that even in the roughest times, it is more than a blessing to be so near to the work that your spouse is engrossed in, all for the sake of Christ and seeing others come to know Him as their Lord and Savior and desire to follow Him more closely. I have the HUGE privilege of staying home with our daughters, Jovey and Laney, and watching most every moment of their young lives unfold before my very eyes. It happens all too quickly and how awesome to be here to be even a small part of their little lives for whom God has great big plans, I am sure!
