Riding Alligators
My best friend, Nicole, and I were meeting up this morning at Southeast Christian to take a Mom's Bible Study together. As we tried to keep our kiddos occupied before major action started, we decided they would enjoy climbing the steps and riding the elevators down again. Jovey was more than pumped at the idea, running toward the doors of the elevator, yelling, "I ride the alligators, mommy!" Maybe a bit more adventurous than we had in mind, but hey, whatever keeps her happy! :-)

Who Am I?

- That's a loaded question. The answer is, I'm not sure, but I do know that it is a continual process and I get excited, frustrated and overjoyed at that process on a daily basis! A few things I DO know: I am a 31 year old mother of two, beautiful girls who has the privilege of being a pastor's wife. I grew up as a pastor's daughter, and never thought it a privilege, but a curse. As I grow in wisdom (not age in years ;-), I have learned that even in the roughest times, it is more than a blessing to be so near to the work that your spouse is engrossed in, all for the sake of Christ and seeing others come to know Him as their Lord and Savior and desire to follow Him more closely. I have the HUGE privilege of staying home with our daughters, Jovey and Laney, and watching most every moment of their young lives unfold before my very eyes. It happens all too quickly and how awesome to be here to be even a small part of their little lives for whom God has great big plans, I am sure!

What a fun morning. God definitely provided a silver lining in our cloud with a free, clean and empty Burger King playarea. I'm glad that if I had to be "denied" the bible study that I was denied with you!
